Terms and conditions

What we do, what your provider does, and what you are agreeing to.

Pre-launch draft. A structural placeholder so the link resolves and the information architecture is testable. Not reviewed by counsel. It must be replaced with lawyer-reviewed terms before SturdyMD accepts a real order, including the telehealth consent, the corporate practice of medicine structure, and the subscription and auto-renewal disclosures required by state law and the FTC's negative-option rules.

What SturdyMD is

SturdyMD operates a technology platform that connects you with independent, licensed US healthcare providers and licensed US pharmacies. SturdyMD does not practice medicine and does not dispense medication. Your provider exercises their own clinical judgment, including the judgment to decline treatment.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older, located in a state where the treatment you requested is available, and providing information about yourself rather than someone else.

Your responsibility to be accurate

Your provider is making a prescribing decision from what you tell them. Leaving out a medication, a condition, or your real drinking habits can make a treatment genuinely dangerous. Complete and truthful intake answers are a condition of using the service.

No emergency care

The service is not for emergencies and is not monitored around the clock. In an emergency call 911.

Not medical advice

Content on this site is general information, not medical advice, and does not create a provider relationship. That relationship begins only when a provider accepts you as a patient.

Payment, subscriptions and cancellation

Prices are shown before purchase. Treatments billed on a recurring basis renew automatically until cancelled, and the renewal terms are disclosed at checkout. You can cancel any time from your account. Because prescription medication cannot be restocked, shipped medication is generally not returnable, and refund eligibility is described at checkout.

Prescriptions and shipping

A prescription is written only if a provider determines it is appropriate. If you are declined, you are not charged for the treatment. Medication is dispensed and shipped by a licensed pharmacy.

Acceptable use

Do not resell or share medication prescribed to you, do not misrepresent your identity, and do not attempt to interfere with the service or access other people's information.

Intellectual property

The SturdyMD name, wordmark, and the content we create for this site belong to SturdyMD. Third-party names and marks that appear here belong to their owners.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the platform is provided as is, and SturdyMD's liability is limited. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here limits the responsibility of your treating provider or the dispensing pharmacy for their own clinical and dispensing decisions.

Disputes and governing law

Governing law, venue, and any arbitration or class-action terms are to be set by counsel before launch. Placeholder terms are deliberately not asserted here, because an unreviewed arbitration clause is worse than none.

Changes

We will post updated terms here with a revised date. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
